project: voices of islam: morccan women song project

projects description: document through still photography, video and sound (audio team) 4 groups of female sufi musicians practice an ancient, exclusively all-female musical tradition. the women had never been documented before.

funding: us ambasadors grant for art, barbara deming memorial fund, GAP grant of wa, puffin foundation, kodak, glazers, ivey imaging
